THANKS ECA!!!
This page is just for you all at Elizabethtown Christian Academy. I finally have a "gift" for you! This past week I was able to do some crafts with the things you gave me at Chistmas with 2 of my classes. The first pictures are from a town called Savan Plat. The second group is from a class in a town called Thomond (toe-moend). I filled each plaque with a piece of construction paper. Then I asked them to pick out a verse that was special to them and write it on their plaques in English. Then they each stood up and shared with the group what their verse said in English and what it meant in Creole. Since I have lots of different levels of students each of the beginners used John 3:16. They had a lot of fun. Crafts isn't something they are used to doing but they love colors. As you can tell from the pictures there were stickers everywhere. They used the borders of the stickers to stick on their clothes.
And the important things is they got to learn about and share special verses from the Bible with their friends. And when other people go to their house and see their art project they will be able to share again with them what it means in Creole and what it means to them.
Thanks for your generosity and love for my "people group". I told each group where the gift came from.
